Since the moment when The Marketed Musician was an idea in the back of my mind, I knew that giving back would be a key piece of my business plan.
As a Christian, I believe in Jesus and give Him the glory for any good that comes from this business and my life.
And just so you know, I’m certainly no saint.
I’m a sinner saved by grace, and I’m called to love and serve EVERYBODY regardless of what they believe.
So whether you share my beliefs or not, I do hope you can relate to the value of joyful giving.
I do not share this “Giving Back” page as a humble brag.
I share this because as a believer, giving back is a genuine joy, and I’d like you to see the impact that our little Marketed Musician community is having around the world.
As time goes on, I’ll use this page to share the impact we’ve been able to make.
No matter how big or small, the first 10% of revenue from The Marketed Musician, LLC will go to a ministry I’m quite fond of called Instruments of Joy. They believe that music is a tool to feed the soul with joy, the mind with hope and to provide the spirit with a way to connect with God.
Instruments of Joy equips aspiring musicians in the developing world with quality musical instruments. The gift of instruments goes beyond the basic human needs for food, water and shelter, tapping into the power and impact that music can have not just on an individual, but a whole community and culture.
Their vision is to supply 10,000 musicians in the developing world with musical instruments to bring joy to 10,000 communities. I’d love to see The Marketed Musician community help them get there – and beyond. To learn more about Instruments of Joy and how you can get involved, go to www.InstrumentsOfJoy.org.
